☀️ Solar Plan Comparer

Compare electricity plans as a solar household — usage rates AND feed-in tariffs together, so you see your real net cost.
Two ways to do this: tap the blue "Upload" button below and choose a photo or PDF of a bill — it will try to fill in the numbers for you (always double-check them). Or type the numbers in yourself, exactly as printed on the bill.
Why this matters for solar households: a plan with the cheapest usage rate isn't always the cheapest plan overall — a low feed-in tariff can quietly cost you more than you save. This tool works out your usage cost minus your feed-in credit, so you're comparing the number that actually lands on your bill.
Need rates for a plan you don't have a bill for yet?
This tool compares numbers you enter — it doesn't look up current plans for you. For that, use Energy Made Easy, the free Australian Government comparison site. Find a plan there, then come back and type its daily charge and rates in below.

Don't have your usage numbers handy?
Fill in an average electricity usage based on your household size — a starting point if you don't have a bill in front of you yet.
⚠️ These are national averages only (Australian Energy Regulator benchmark data) and won't match every household. They don't account for extra usage like pool pumps, ducted air conditioning, electric vehicle charging, or other high-draw appliances. Use a real bill for an accurate comparison wherever you can.
