We sell digital products and online tool access, including budgeting spreadsheets, savings trackers, calculators, financial organisation templates, guides, checklists and other resources described on the website. Each product page explains what is included, the format, supported software or browser requirements, and any known limitations. Product screenshots and examples may contain sample data and may not represent your personal circumstances.
We aim to ensure product descriptions, screenshots and examples are accurate. However, features may change as products are updated, screenshots may differ slightly from the purchased version, and calculations depend on the information you enter. Prices are displayed in Australian dollars. The price payable is the price shown at checkout, including any applicable taxes or charges shown before payment. Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not intentionally store full payment-card numbers on our own systems. You must provide accurate information when purchasing, including your email address, we are not responsible for delivery problems caused by an incorrect email address.
After successful payment, access to your purchased product is provided via a private download or access link shown on the checkout confirmation page and sent to your email address. Keep an online-tool access link private because it confirms your purchase. If you do not receive your product, check your spam and junk folders before contacting hello@moneydetective.com.au.
Unless the product page states otherwise, your purchase gives you access to the version available at the time of purchase.
Your purchase gives you a limited licence to use the product under our Template Licence. Unless the product page states otherwise, you may use the product or online tool for your own household, download or store supplied files, personalise templates, and print information generated for your own use.
Unless we give written permission, you must not resell the original product, share the original file, download link or private access link publicly, upload the product elsewhere, reproduce it as a competing product, bypass purchase controls, or remove branding or copyright notices.
The Money Detective website, written content, spreadsheets, templates, formulas, layouts and branding remain our intellectual property unless stated otherwise. Your purchase gives you permission to use the product under the applicable licence, it does not transfer copyright or ownership to you. Any personal data you enter into a template remains yours.

Energy calculations are indicative comparisons based on the usage, billing period, rates and plan information entered or imported. They are not a prediction of a future bill and do not recommend a retailer or plan. Plan information can change, and some tariffs, discounts, fees, eligibility conditions and meter arrangements require manual review. Check the retailer's current plan documents and use the official comparison service relevant to your location before changing plans.
