Lunch
- Golden rule and one of the first areas to start reducing your overheads is to start to take your lunch to work. This can save you a massive amount of money each day, week, month and year.
- Be motivated so get up 15 - 30 mins earlier each morning and prepare a lunch meal for each member of the family. Make this part of your daily routine. Get the family to help out.
- Turn your left overs from dinner into the next day's lunch. You will amaze your work colleagues and certainly make them jealous when they smell your culinary creations.
- Choose alternatives to expensive and unhealthy snacks, such as packing some fresh fruit, yoghurt, vegetable sticks etc.
- Use the tea / coffee / hot chocolate provide at work instead of buying take away coffees during the day. If these aren't provided consider taking along a flask.
