Babies : Essentials For Your Nappy Bag
A nappy bag is a mother’s lifeline when she is out of the home. Carrying around bits and pieces for your baby can certainly save you having to dash into shops and paying dearly for items when you are caught out. Here is a list of 5 items that will come in handy when you are out and about:
- Nappies. Generally you will change a baby every 3-4 hours so consider how long you will be out for and how many nappies you will need. Then add three more just in case!
- Baby wipes. Wipes are especially helpful whilst you are out for cleaning dirty bottoms and faces. You can purchase 'travel packs', or a cheaper option is pulling some wipes out of your bulk pack and store them in a zip lock bag (or reuse a travel packet).
- Hand Sanitiser. This is great for cleaning your hands when you don’t have a tap and soap available.
- Wraps. Wraps can come in very handy – you may want to put your baby to sleep and bundling them up in a wrap may help this process. The weather may turn cold / rainy so a wrap can add another layer of warmth and / or you may need an additional cloth to soak up spills.
- Mum / Dad's must-haves. Being a mum can be hard work – add a snack for yourself, a bottle of water, lip balm and any other bits and pieces you may need whilst you are out.
